Advance Incident Command System Course

 

COURSE OVERVIEW:

 

This course provides training for personnel who are in or likely to assume a supervisory (leadership) position within the ICS and expands upon information covered in the CMI basic ICS course. There is also a focus on single resources and initial action incidents. The following ICS features will be discussed in greater detail about their roles in the management of an incident:

 

* Chain of Command and Unity of Command

* Modular Organization

* Management by Objectives

* Manageable Span of Control

* Transfer of Command

Important note: Participant must have completed the CMI Basic ICS Course to be eligible.
